Daily Cleaning: Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to remove dust. For a deeper clean, use a damp cloth with a pH-neutral cleaner specifically formulated for natural stone.

Avoid Acidic Substances: Travertine is highly sensitive to acids. Keep lemon juice, vinegar, wine, and harsh chemical cleaners away from the surface, as they can cause “”etching”” (dull spots in the stone).

Blot, Don’t Wipe: If a spill occurs, blot it immediately with a clean, absorbent cloth. Wiping can spread the liquid into the stone’s natural pores.

Use Protection: Always use coasters, placemats, and felt pads under decorative objects to prevent staining, water rings, and scratches. Mango Wood Base Care
Dust Regularly: Use a soft, lint-free cloth. To clean the vertical fluting, a soft-bristled brush or a vacuum attachment with a brush head works best to reach into the grooves.

Moisture Control: Keep the wooden base dry. If water spills on the wood, wipe it off immediately to prevent the espresso stain from clouding or the wood from swelling.

Avoid Heat & Sunlight: Position the table away from direct sunlight and heat sources (like radiators or fireplaces) to prevent the dark stain from fading or the wood from cracking over time.

No Harsh Chemicals: Avoid furniture polishes containing silicone or ammonia, which can build up and dull the deep espresso finish. A high-quality furniture wax can be used sparingly once or twice a year if needed.
